Definitions
In these terms and conditions of hire, the following meanings shall apply:
“we, us, our” refers to Nineteen72 Events.
“you, your” refers to the named person on the booking.
“your booking” means all arrangements and items sourced and organised for you by us.
“Balloon Filled Props” refers to balloon filled numbers, LOVE blocks, BABY blocks.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and you should therefore check them each time you hire items from us. The terms and conditions applying to your booking will be those in place on the date that you make your reservation.
Property Ownership & Responsibility
- All props and hire items are the property of us and remain so at all times throughout your booking.
- The agreed fee is for hired use ONLY.
- By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree with our terms of care. You agree that you are solely responsible for the hire items at all times throughout your booking, from acceptance/delivery until they are accepted back by us.
Payment Terms
- All bookings are subject to a 25% booking fee.
- Booking fees are non-refundable.
- Your booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been accepted by us. You will receive confirmation of your payment being accepted.
- Booking fees will be offset against your remaining balance.
- Your remaining is balance is due 7 days prior to the date of your event.
- Payment of the booking fees means you have read, agreed and fully understand our terms & conditions.
Hire Item Condition
- On accepting delivery, it is your responsibility to ensure and confirm the props are in the condition advertised.
- It is your responsibility of to ensure props are returned in the same condition they were when delivered.
- Breakages, missing parts & damages to items will be charged according to the full replacement value.
- If an item you have booked is damaged prior to your booking taking place you will be informed and every effort will be made to replace the item like for like. If this is not possible or if this is unsatisfactory, you will be entitled to a refund for that item only. No further compensation will be due.
- Unless agreed by us at the time of booking, all props are for INDOOR USE ONLY; any items used outside are done so entirely at the hirer’s risk.
- Once items are delivered, they are not to be moved by anyone other than us.
- Electrical items should be tested for functionality by the hirer prior to event usage.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that your venue can accommodate our props. No refund will be given which results in us being unable to setup a prop(s).
Delivery, Setup & Collection
- All dates and times are to be to be agreed with us prior to booking and you must ensure we will be granted sufficient access, assistance and a site contact on the day.
- If we cannot gain access at the agreed delivery/setup time we reserve the right to refuse delivery/setup and no refunds will be given.
- If we cannot collect any props hired during your booking at the agreed time and this impacts another booking, you will be liable for the full value of the second booking, including any delivery/setup charges applicable.
- Should you wish to amend these times once the booking is confirmed, we will try to accommodate where possible, however this is subject to availability.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that we are provided with sufficient time setup. These times will be discussed with you at the time of booking.
- Unless agreed prior to booking, props are only to be set up by us.
Balloon Filled Props
- Balloon filled props are subject to a prepaid damage deposit, payable at the time of booking.
- Under no circumstances should any balloon filled props be emptied by anyone except us.
- Any emptying of the props will result in your damage deposit being withheld and the deposit will not be returned.
Flower Walls & Backdrops
- Flower Walls & Backdrops are designed for indoor use only. Where hire has been agreed for outside use, it is subject to weather conditions. Setup will not be carried out in any weather we deem as unsafe.
- In any circumstances where we are unable to fulfil the outside hire arrangements, we are happy for the wall to be used in a suitable location inside.
- Flower Walls/Backdrops will not be installed where there is a risk of damage.
Balloon Installations
We accept no responsible for any damage caused by the removal of any rigging points, by either us or you.
Design requirements, including colour schemes & addons, are confirmed at the time of booking, unless agreed otherwise.
Stock is order at the point of your booking fee being accepted.
Should you wish to amend your design requirements, we will try to accommodate your request where possible, however if stock for your event has already been purchased, then additional costs will be incurred.
Command Hooks are used as rigging points on indoor installations. It is your responsibility to ensure that your venue/property owner permits these being used.
If permission isn’t granted and/or we cannot install on the day, due to such reason, no refund will be given.
Rigging points for outside installations will be agreed with you at the point of booking.
